Graphics programmes probably was my first love and introduction to card making. Much can be achieved with Word or Works word processor, particularly for inserts. Paint Shop Pro certainly opens a new game. If you are interested in using a graphics programme, to work with layers, there is a free one called paint.nett, equally Paint Shop Pro usually offers a full version for 4week trial. Another of my standby favs if Microsoft Publisher. Then I found Promarkers !!
Working with digi as layers, requires a transparent background, in order to drop the colour behind it. Some Digital artwork can be adapted to transparency, if not already given as a download. Others if the outlines are not closed - rendering them is difficult to impossible. But ..... there are ways and means if you think out of the box, rather like combining digis and stamping.
Keeping an eye on the copyright of the author & limitations they may have in place.
Endless - some ideas for toppers
Great choice for our 'Festive Food' challenge at Winter Wonderland, Huny, and so well executed. Thank you for joining us, and good luck in the draw.
